| I can't resist a beautiful practical book. |
Not so long ago I read an article about how there would be no more books in the future. Somehow I can never see this happening because no matter how sophisticated our technology gets .. a book is a treasure. The weight, the texture the feel and even the smell of a book is a pleasure that you can come back to time and time again. Great books are like old friends.
I'm not precious about my books.. especially my recipe books. When I die my children will find my scrawl in the margins on my favourite recipe books and smile... and remember.
